It is woven on manually operated looms by a group of artisans in Gujerat, India. The traditional motifs are charateristic of the nomadic tribes that create them.
Desi wool has a distinctive linen-like texture.
Known as "Harmony between Man and Sheep", hearders have worked together with weavers for centuries to create a system for their mutual livelihood.
